Types of Precast Staircase
Whether you’re looking to install a grand, sweeping staircase or something more simple, Mexboro can manufacture the design you need.
Standard Steps
The most straightforward staircase design, these staircases move from one level to the next in a straight line. Steel beams or precast landings can be built in as the work progresses, with flights installed on a floor by floor basis, or in one final operation to save on crane time.
L Steps
Mexboro’s L-shape steps are a highly cost-effective method of stairway construction, being both quick to install and easy to handle. Due to their component form, there is no need for costly craneage or on-site shuttering, and their strength and flexibility makes them suitable for a huge range of applications.
Winding L Steps
Used in conjunction with the general or disabled L-Step system, winding L-Steps provide an excellent solution for creating a 90 degree turn in a staircase without the need for a half landing. These steps come in a standard length that accommodates a maximum opening of 1.2 meters, with any projecting overhang being cut on site to fit.
